Desiree (gotta love that name!) has a B.A. in Advertising from the University of Minnesota, copywriting training from the Minneapolis School of Advertising, and client-side experience in sales and marketing! She won’t write word one without a creative strategy! Can’t argue with that! (Though we’ve tried!) When she’s not crafting words she golfs, camps, skis, cooks (gourmet, no less), reads and travels! With husband Kurt and sons Camden and Grant trying to keep up! And like a lot of award-winning writers, she’s most proud of her first such accolade—top honors in a fifth grade poster contest! Oh, yeah, she hates exclamation points!
