Concept Group Gets the Green Light from Global Traffic Technologies

Saint Paul—October, 2007—Concept Group Inc., a St. Paul marketing communications agency, was recently named agency of record for Global Traffic Technologies, LLC (GTT), a new company created from GTT’s acquisition of 3M’s Intelligent Transportation Systems’ key brands and products—Opticom™ Priority Control Systems and Canoga™ Traffic Detection Systems.

Concept Group’s solutions for GTT includes brand and logo development, graphic identity system, advertising, public relations, web environment, collateral, trade show support, direct marketing and promotional activities.

According to Brad Moore, senior vice president and a principal of Concept Group, the new partnership and business—a win over several local agencies—was a logical fit based on both experience and expertise. “Our 30-year history with 3M, plus our proficiency in branding and supporting new, entrepreneurial enterprises made us a good fit with the products, people and mission of Global Traffic Technologies,” Moore said.

Established in 1978, Concept Group Inc. (www.conceptgroup.com) offers strategic
and creative solutions in all areas of marketing communications, including branding, print advertising, interactive media, collateral, direct marketing, sales promotion and package design for its consumer and B-to-B clients.

Privately held and headquartered in St. Paul, Global Traffic Technologies’ mission is to improve traffic management and safety around the world with proven technologies and continuous innovation. Its Opticom Priority Control System assists the movement of emergency and mass-transit vehicles through signal-controlled intersections to save lives and optimize on-schedule service. Its Canoga Traffic Detection Systems provide reliable, real-time information on individual vehicles and traffic patterns to assist traffic management professionals.
